Call Forwarding Information Missing from Phone Display.

Hope someone can assist with a strange issue that I can't find a fix for.

 

We have a customer that uses 7841 model phones on 2 sites.  They share the same device pool.

 

Issue is with forwarding calls from the phone.  One site forwards fine, the forward is diplayed on the phone and there is a softkey to turn the forward off.

 

On this other site however, if you forward all calls to a number, you do not see the display change to the typical zig zag arrow with the extension you have forwarded to and coincidentally, the soft button doesn’t change from ‘Fwd All’ to ‘Fwd Off’ on screen. It will however forward all calls to the required extension ok.  Problem with that being:

 

1: Users unaware the fwd has been successful unless they test it, and

2: Unable to take the forward off, which is when they contact me to fix on CUCM. 

 

I've compared device settings and softkey templates and can't see any differences between working and non working devices.

 

Anyone seen this before?

Have you verified the software code running on working and non working phone?
