CUCM 10.5 upgrade and Gateways

Hi All,

I am upgrading to cucm 10.5, my question is there any configuration need to be done in the gateways before the upgrade, or i can use same config while the ip address still the same?

Yes everything will be the same accept we adding E.164 dial plane, I do not need to configure anything for that in the gateways, do I?

 your gateway is MGCP or H.323?

 If it is MGCP then you only need to make changes in CUCM, but if it is H.323 you must make changes in CUCM and in the gateway.
