DCNM - post alarms to REST endpoint via webhook, I.E. AWS Lambda

Hi All,

I'm looking to configure a DCNM to send alarms to an API endpoint, I.E. post the alarm payload JSON formatted to an external url, in this case an AWS Lambda.  Instead of forwarding SNMP traffic, JSON format it and post it to an HTTPS URL.  

Can I get some recommendations/feedback/suggestions? How would I configure this?  Is this a terrible idea and I should use the SNMP forwarder?

I'm not sure which approach is better but I do know DCNM has been renamed:

Cisco Nexus Dashboard Fabric Controller (Formerly DCNM)

This might help you when searching for a solution.
