Webex registered with UCM – E911 settings missing when on-prem

I am using Webex registered with UCM.
Webex app version 44.4.0.29298
UCM Version 14.0.1.13900-155

When I use Webex over MRA, the E911 settings button appears and I can configure my location as expected.
But when I am on premise, the E911 settings button is missing.

I am using the same user account, with the same Service Profile for both.

When on-prem and I check the Calling Settings in the Webex app, under the E911 Service it shows “Location Verified".
But does not show the location like it does when the button is present.

Anyone seen this or have any thoughts where to look?

That’s because when you are connected on-prem the location is known and handled by CER. Only when you’re in nomadic state, aka connected outside of the corporate network, you’ll get the E911 setting button.

Thanks for the response.
I should have given more information.

We are not using CER.
911 services are handled by a 9Line.
We send 911 calls direct to 9Line, and they direct the call to the correct PSAP.

In 9Line, we preconfigure switches/BSSIDs and assign them to locations.

I was thinking something similar to what you said – that Webex knows my Location.
I deleted all the switchports, BSSIDs, and Locations in 9Line and Webex still says the Location is Verified.

Normally even with a Verified Location, I can access the E911 Settings in Webex.

This ended up being something wonky with the Webex app. (on two different machines).

I tried this with two different PCs, and both acted the same – no E911 settings button.
I tried a third machine and it was working as expected.

I uninstalled the Webex app on the other two machines and reinstalled.
Now they are working as expected.

Strange. Not sure what would have caused these two installs to misbehave.
But working now after reinstalling Webex app.
