Cisco BE7K-K9 ( UCS C240 M3s) - Replacement

Hi,

Cisco BE7K-K9 ( UCS C240 M3s) end of support is by August 2020. Please suggest the replacement hardware for the same.

 

Also, is it possible to install  CUCM version 10.5.2 on an non Cisco ESXi Host ?? Please suggest.

Reach out to a Cisco partner with voice specializations or a Cisco distributor to discuss this and find out what currently shipping HW options could be a good fit

 

If you intend to use other HW (non-TRC or 3rd party), all the info can be found here:

It would be your responsibility to properly size the server for your needs and understand the level of support you'd receive from Cisco based on that choice, as well as additional requirements.

You're talking about quite an old version of CUCM.  You'll need to look for Cisco's specific requirements to 10.5(2) not just the generic requirements for current products.  For example you'll see that 10.5(2) is not supported on the current BE7K hardware.

We've just been planning hardware migration for a customer with similar versions, and we are recommending that he upgrade to at least 11.5 prior to the migration.
