2566/2588 antenna wireless coverage distance

Do you have any documentation or experience on how far the antennas below can reach clients?

I should get a wireless signal up to 90-180m.

Is it possible?

The AP model is 1532E.

 

AIR-ANT2566P4W-R=

AIR-ANT2566P4W-RS=

AIR-ANT2588P3M-N

What is the use if the wireless signal, from the AP, can go up to 180m but the response from the wireless client CANNOT reach back?

This excellent blog post from François Vergés explain this very well (https://semfionetworks.com/blog/free-space-path-loss-diagrams/) and this one from the great Nigel Bowden helps you to calculate that (https://wifinigel.blogspot.com/2014/05/wifi-free-space-loss-calculator.html):

Using any antenna model, and making the AP to transmit at maximum EIRP power in UNII-2c band (RLAN band 2 in ETSI) which is  set to 30 dBm by the standard, signal strength value is around -62.4 dBm at 180 meters.
Antenna is not the problem as the maximum EIRP on the antenna should be 30 dBm, but it is true that as more directional is the antenna the bettr it focus all radiation, so expect best results at that distances.

Adding to @Leo Laohoo answer, if the client cannot transmit at 24dBms in the case of using AIR-ANT2566P4W, or 22 dBm if you use AIR-ANT2588P3M-N, then this is not going to work.

Check maximum transmission power of the client on https://fccid.io site

Might also want to check the antenna connections the 1532E is an N style connector the 2566 antennas you have listed are RP-TNC connectors so wont connect, and also I believe not supported on this AP by TAC.

As others have said it also depends on the client and what its trying to do, an IoT sensor sending bytes at a time at very low data rates may work, but if your wanting to stream 4k video probably not.
