Hi All,
I am part of an extestion mobility application. I have two questiones regarding the imaging in MSE,

1.       MSE provides APIs for retrieving the building maps. What is the format of these images? Are these images in JPEG or AUTOCAD images?
2.       Does MSE store multiple building map images for different zoom sizes?

Aelp would be appreciated.

Hi Shwetha,

Here are the answers,

1.  MSE provides APIs for retrieving the building maps. What is the format of these images? Are these images in JPEG or
    AUTOCAD images?

  - WCS is used to load the image maps which will be pushed into the MSE . Image format supported in WCS are JPEG or JPG
or GIF or PNG . One can also import CAD maps DXF,DWG but in this case WCS will convert these maps to PNG format and
pushes to MSE . So when you retrieve from MSE APIs it will be either GIF or JPG 0rJPEG or PNG    .

2. Does MSE store multiple building map images for different zoom sizes?

   - No , Only one single image for a floor , one has to write their own logic to show the zoom in/out effects . WCS has
the capability to dispaly all these effects .
