We were doing some testing and I forgot to change my automatic purge setting. So some of the files that I needed were purged before I was able to copy them off of the server. On the bottom part of the Prune policy page I have “Do not automatically remove associated data and MP4 files “selected.
Is there a way that I can retrieve the pruned recordings from the server?
System Version: 9.1.1.10000-25
Thanks

Hi Donovan,
Unfortunately there is no way to retrieve recordings that were pruned. The option "Do not automatically remove associated data and MP4 files" only applies to the meta data and to already converted files. This means that the meta data for the session is still availabe in MediaSense's database for query and will remain there until specifically requested to be deleted from the API. For MP4 files, if a request had been submitted to convert the session, the resulting MP4 file will remain available but the raw recording is lost as it was pruned.
