Don,
In 2010 there was a Nuance patch for error.noresource coming from Cisco voice gateway (I'll add it here, but you'll have to change the file extension back to .zip to use it).
Don't know if it'll fix your issue or not.
# Installation instructions #----------------------------------------------------------------------- -----------------------------------------------------
1. Shutdown the Nuance Speech server
2. Make a back-up copy of mrcp1osrspeechrecog.dll and osrspeechrecog.dll files
3. Copy mrcp1osrspeechrecog.dll and osrspeechrecog.dll files to bin directory of the server by overwriting the original files.
4. Restart the server

Don, Did you try this, posted by Juluri a few weeks ago which fixed his 'error.noresource' problems?

"At the integration level i also faced same issue "error.noresource".

To correct this error we have applied a command "mrcp client accept-charset-compliance" on the Vxml Gateway  (This was a hidden command, when we applied this command it is taking correct Accept-Charset parameter)

INVALID ONE:

MRCP/1.0 5 404 COMPLETE
Accept-Charset: charset: utf-8
CORRECT ONE
MRCP/1.0 5 404 COMPLETE
Accept-Charset: utf-8

To correct this error we have applied a command mrcp client accept-charset-compliance on the Vxml Gateway .This was a hidden command, when we applied this command it is taking correct Accept-Charset parameter."

Don,
if your web server is not returing the file to your browser using the grxml etension then you most likely do not have a MIME type defined for the extention.  grmxl should be set to "application/srgs+xml" in the web server configuration.  If this is not defined then you will get a 404 error from the web server that will result in the noresource error as well.
HTH.

Good point.
Don, does it work if you modify the studio app to retrieve the grammar with the .xml extension?

In calling any *.grxml grammar from a uri I'm getting a no resource error. Nothing wrong with the grammar. It shows up in a browser and works with CVP if I rename it *.xml instead of *.grxml.

I'm guessing there is a configuration I'm missing someplace. From a few other posts I see there are problems in getting CVP to work with Nuance 9 on grxml grammars but haven't found anything helpful for what I am seeing.

Yes, the same grammar with *.xml extension works fine. Will check what Michael suggested.

What Michael suggested worked. Thank you.
