Hi,
I am working with the AMX module for a Cisco C60 endpoint (Cisco_C60_Comm_dr1_0_0) version 2.0.2 and getting inconsistent results with the PHONEBOOKSEARCH command and a corporate phone book.  It seems like maybe there are certain contacts in the phonebook that are causing a search that should return all the records (i.e. ID=*), to indicate zero results.  I've tried adding one contact at a time, verifying that I can issue the search command and get all results, then when I get zero results I remove the last contact I added, but issuing another search command will still return zero results.  The only way I seem to be able to get results again is to completley erase the phonebook and start over adding contacts.  Is there any particual format the contacts should be in to work with this module? Or any suggestions as to what else I can try to troubleshoot this problem?
One other issue I've come across is the DIALID command does not seem to do anything.  If I send the DIALID command to the virtual device (using an ID that was returned from a phonebook record), should I see an xcommand get issued to the physical device?  I'm not seeing that happen.
Thanks,
Cesare Lorenzetti

Hi Cesare,
AMX have recently taken oven writing the Cisco TelePresence modules. The module you are using is one of these new ones and you need to contact AMX for this, support@amx.com

I will in any case report this to AMX so that they are aware of your request

Ciao,

David

Hi David,
Thanks for the quick reply.  I have been in contact with AMX support and they told me Cisco developed the module. ??

Hm,
sorry you have ended up as a bit of a bouncing-ball between Cisco and AMX. It is fairly recent that AMX have taken over both development and support for this module and AMX Tech support had unfortunately not been made aware of this. If you can please contact AMX tech support again they should now hopefully be informed (AMX contacted me last night and informed me that they were aware that you had been redirected back to Cisco for this support case). If not then please refer them to this thread.
I'm sure you'll get excellent help from AMX!
Cheers,
David
