Simpler and Faster Network Configuration with NETCONF/YANG
NETCONF/YANG is a popular topic lately! Cisco recently introduced NETCONF/YANG support across the enterprise network portfolio with the capability being available in the 16.3 XE code. We are excited because NETCONF/YANG allows for programmatic access to network devices using structured data. Want to know more?

Let our DevNet Digital Networking Architecture (DNA) Community experts break it down and dig into the details. In the latest blog series read how you can programmatically change a vlan membership for a switch. Contiv: The First Docker Certified Container Networking Product
Contiv (a Cisco sponsored open source project) has been certified by Docker, and is now available on the Docker Store. What is Contiv? It's a container networking fabric for heterogeneous container deployments across virtual machines, bare-metal, and public or private clouds. It is also the most powerful container networking fabric in the industry, with Layer 2, Layer 3, overlay and ACI modes that natively integrate with Cisco infrastructure. More details here.

CMX provides an API that allows you to export the location data to your own application and this sample app gets you started! The Cisco Meraki CMX API when combined with a map of access points in dashboard, the CMX API will report client locations as devices traverse a given floor plan. Check it out!
