OnePK emulator, but not in the appliance

Hi there,

I would like to use the onepk emulator but to not use the virtual appliance.

That is, I would like to understand what the constituent parts are in order to make it run without needing to use the appliance.

Any advice on that would be most appreciated.

Thanks

Hi Andrew,

Hope you are trying to have app hosted on a server communicate with the network element.

Ans) End node hosting is the most common.  The app simply communicates across a TCP-based RPC channel with the device.  This channel is encrypted using TLS.  The onePK Getting Started Guide available from http://developer.cisco.com/web/onepk has the steps necessary to configure the device for this.

Reference - Which devices are you using?

Also refer onePK FAQ for related information

Thanks and Regards,
