Jabber Chat History?

From what I’m reading in the support forums, Jabber creates one file located at......

(C:\Users[userid]\AppData\Local\Cisco\Unified Communications\Jabber\CSF\History).

Currently there is no way to delete this except by deleting the .db file that holds all history.  I'm looking for creative ways to remove these files every day (something besides a batch job).   My client doesn't want jabber history on local pc's. 

Is there any update on this?  Assuming there is already a feature request/enhancement in the works????

As of Feb end 2013, the roadmap status was like this...

Option to delete chat history from client UI is on product backlog. It will be available in a post 9.2 release.

I dont see this fixed in presently released 9.2.0 version of JFW.

Ofcourse, what Srini suggested is the way to stop clients from creating chat history on the their machines.

This is what I do:

Exit from Jabber using the little gear icon.

Then, click thru the following:

C:

Users

(username, ex hmouse)

AppData

Local

Cisco

Unified Communications

Jabber

CSF

History

username@whatever.local (that is the db file.)

Then delete that db file.

BEAR IN MIND this removes YOUR END of the conversation. THE OTHER END (whoever you were chatting with) still has the conversation on THEIR local machine.
