CCE Configuration Reports for CUIC 10.5 (not earlier!)

These are a set of 3 Configuration Reports and 5 Drilldowns used as part of these Configuration Reports for CUIC 10.5 that are being made available to the developer.cisco.com community. They will not work in earlier versions as they do not import. Below is the developers note included as help in the reports.

Please provide any feedback you might have on these reports as it allows us to further make changes and improve them.

DEVELOPERS NOTE

CCE Configuration MRD Interval and Daily Reports

The CCE Configuration Reports report on your configuration and its limits. These include the number of concurrent agents in use and port usage. They are filtered by DateTime exclusively and look at configuration data across the system, divided by Media Routing Domain.

Each report includes four views. The main interval view gives the maximum number of concurrent agents per interval per system, PG, and PIM. It also gives Port information, specifically the maximum number of ports in use concurrently for the interval, as well as Trunk Groups in use and overall Trunk Groups available. Because this number is based off of half hour intervals, 15 and 45 minute intervals will be blank. There is a summary line included that shows the maximum value for each of these metrics for the interval.

Please note, concurrent agents and ports are rough estimates based on information in the tables that are currently available. Additionally, concurrent ports has not been validated for accuracy, meaning this field may be somewhat off from the actual number of concurrent ports in use (most likely as double the actual value, or a few numbers off). Unfortunately, no value currently exists to measure ports accurately so the value being used here is the best that could be used.

The max view gives maximum configuration metrics for the interval. It includes the maximum number of concurrent agents in use for the interval and the average and maximum port usage.

The reports also include two graph views which show the maximum number of concurrent agents in use for each interval for systems, PGs, and PIMs and the maximum number of concurrent ports in use for each interval respectively.

CCE Current Configuration

The CCE Current Configuration Report is ideal for when you want to look at the overall maximum configuration metrics across the system. This is a report that has one line per Media Routing Domain and does not require a filter; it just needs to be run to obtain data from across the system. It includes the maximum overall agent and skill group configurations, maximum agent team configurations, and maximum PIM Configuration. This report can also be used as part of a dashboard report to give overall configuration while looking at specific interval configurations.

The report also includes three drilldowns on Max Configured Agents per Skill Group, Skill Groups Without Agents, and Max Agents per Team. These drilldowns come from the attached drilldown reports and can be run separately. They are described below.

Drilldown – Agent Team Numbers

The Agent Team Numbers Drilldown report is a simple report that gives each team, its supervisor, and the number of agents on the team. It includes a filter to narrow down the results to teams with a certain number of agents only. When run as a drilldown report from CCE Current Configuration, it looks for teams with the maximum number of agents per team listed in the report. This report includes another drilldown on Team Name to the Agent Team Membership report.

Drilldown – Agent Team Membership

The Agent Team Membership Drilldown report is a simple report that gives the name of every agent on a team or teams selected in the filter. When run as a drilldown report from Drilldown – Agent Team Numbers, it gives the team membership of the team selected.

Drilldown – Skill Group Numbers

The Skill Group Numbers Drilldown report is a simple report that gives each skill group and the number of agents associated with that skill group. It includes a filter to narrow down the results to skill groups with a certain number of agents only. When run as a drilldown report from CCE Current Configuration, it looks for skill groups with the maximum number of agents per skill group listed in the report. This report includes another drilldown on Skill Group Name to the Skill Group Membership report.

Drilldown – Skill Group Membership

The Skill Group Membership Drilldown report is a simple report that gives the name of every agent associated with a skill groups or skill groups selected in the filter. When run as a drilldown report from Drilldown – Skill Group Numbers, it gives the agents associated with the skill group selected.

Drilldown – Skill Groups Without Agents

The Skill Groups Without Agents Drilldown report is a simple report that when run gives the name of every skill group that has no agent associated with it. There is no difference between running this report separately or as a drilldown from the CCE Current Configuration report.

This are fantastic! Thanks for posting these! I got all of the reports imported except for the “CCE Configuration MRD Interval and Daily Reports”. I get the following error:

“Import could not be completed: Report(s) failed to import. Please check the logs for details. failed to lazily initialize a collection, no session or session was closed : failed to lazily initialize a collection, no session or session was closed ---- Debugging information ---- message : failed to lazily initialize a collection, no session or session was closed cause-exception : org.hibernate.LazyInitializationException cause-message : failed to lazily initialize a collection, no session or session was closed class : com.cisco.ccbu.cuic.objectmodel.repo”

I am importing these as a CUIC full admin user.

Anyone have any ideas?

Hi Michael,

I suggest you open a case for TAC to look.

Thanks,

Vikram G

CUIC Product Manager

No TAC support as this is a developer.cisco.com report and not something stock.

You are trying to import on CUIC 10.5 correct?  I know, stupid question, but I have to ask.

Regards,

Jack Parker

You are correct. CUIC 10.5(1) build 1 (10_5_1_10000_7)

I've seen that sort of error before, notably with CUIC 9.  A common trouble-fix is to clear browser cache.  I've also seen reports import one time and not another.  I don't have a solution, but I would try those two things.

Jack Parker.

Hi all,

i have the same issue as Michael,

anyone can help?

Import could not be completed: 2 Report(s) failed to import. Please check the logs for details.  Hide Details

1. CCE Configuration Interval with MRD --> Unexpected Error while importing report. failed to lazily initialize a collection, no session or session was closed : failed to lazily initialize a collection, no session or session was closed ---- Debugging information ---- message : failed to lazily initialize a collection, no session or session was closed cause-exception : org.hibernate.LazyInitializationException cause-message : failed to lazily initialize a collection, no session or session was closed class : com.cisco.ccbu.cuic.objectmodel.reportdefinition.CuicReportDefinitionImpl required-type : org.hibernate.collection.PersistentSet -------------------------------
2. CCE Configuration MRD Daily --> Unexpected Error while importing report. failed to lazily initialize a collection, no session or session was closed : failed to lazily initialize a collection, no session or session was closed ---- Debugging information ---- message : failed to lazily initialize a collection, no session or session was closed cause-exception : org.hibernate.LazyInitializationException cause-message : failed to lazily initialize a collection, no session or session was closed class : com.cisco.ccbu.cuic.objectmodel.reportdefinition.CuicReportDefinitionImpl required-type : org.hibernate.collection.PersistentSet -------------------------------

Thanks

It is probably a schema discrepancy with the CUIC version (as opposed to the CCE version).  I can't get these two to import either.  I can give you the raw SQL.  Create a report definition using an anonymous block, paste the raw SQL in, create parameters, then create fields.

Regards,

Jack Parker

Thanks jacparke your solution is working well.

regards,

Romain
