IWAN app fails after upgrade

Hello,

IWAN app is failing after upgrading to the latest version. Is this expected as I am using the free version of APIC-EM with no license purchased? Before this upgrade, I did not have any issues but now the IWAN app is complaining for incompatibility. How can I upgrade the app?

I've attached some screenshots.

I upgraded IWAN app from 1.3.1 -> 1.3.2 (my controller was running 1.3.2)

I then upgraded APIC from 1.3.2 -> 1.4

I then upgraded IWAN app to 1.4

You should upgrade the base controller before upgrading the iwan app.

That’s what I did. I only upgraded the controller from 1.3.2.37 -> 1.4.0.1959. That was it.

Thank you. It is working now. I was under impression that when I upgrade the controller to the new version, all the apps which come with it will be on the new version too.

Excellent news.

Yes, we probably need to be a bit clearer about this.  In 1.3.2 we implemented "app separation" which means the releases of IWAN app are separate to the controller.  The nice thing about this is you will see an increased cadence in IWAN app releases, just need to be aware that there will be some requirements to upgrade the base platform as well.

Lots of good things in IWAN app 1.4
