I need to instantiate a UCS Central Global Service Profile on one VLAN for PXE boot imaging, then, after OS installation is complete, change the VLAN. Using a LAN Connectivity Policy that includes an (Initial) vNIC Template, I cannot edit the VLAN even after unbinding the Service Profile from the Template. The only scenario I have been able to make work involves creating a manual vNIC in the Service Profile Template with the PXE Boot VLAN, then unbinding the Service Profile from the Template. I would much prefer not to unbind my Service Profile(s) from the Updating Template, so does anyone have any suggestions?
