What was wrong with the first release of ISE 2.2 patch 4 and ISE 2.3 patch 1?

Hello,

can I get a reason why the patches were pulled? Do I absolutely need to uninstall the old one and reinstall the new (or install the additional bundle)?

Is there any risk in leaving the old patch running?

Best regards,

Silla Rizzoli

The additional fix is due to the older patch builds missing a couple of steps in addressing CSCvf22318, and the two related defects -- CSCvf42061 and CSCvf87844.

As only the new patch builds are officially supported, please do schedule a maintenance window to remove the old and apply the new. You may however take your time to do so, if your deployments are not impacted by the three bugs above.
