Team,

Do we have the options to create the Guest user account through REST API and send this new account info from email using the same API?

ISE Guest Sponsor API Tips & Tricks

Also, how these accounts can purged? Do we have to do it manually?

I was reading the below somewhere in the forum.

you would not be able to automatically purge or control these accounts thru the sponsor portal as they are outside of guest services

so how do we see the account (like password) details if we can not control it through the sponsor portal as they are outside of guest services.

Please advise.

Yes you can do that

purging  the same for api as it is for sponsor portal created accounts

You mean that using the REST API for Create Guest User, ISE will send the email to the Guest (<personBeingVisited>john@cisco.com</personBeingVisited>.

Please confirm.

Regarding the 2nd Portion about control or purging the guest accounts, it can now be controlled within ISE like edit the account or purging etc.? is that correct?

The person being visited is the sponsor of the guest

Using the API functionality to notify guest and sponsor is included as it is in the sponsor portal as well

Purging is controlled in ISE just like those accounts created with the sponsor portal, it uses the same mechanisms

let me check in lab and i will post again, if needed.
