UCS BMA and Local DHCP

Hi Everyone,

I've been looking everywhere for a best practice document for BMA that deals with another DHCP on the local system. My problem is that for a single network design BMA DHCP will be in the same VLAN as the local DHCP. I found that it is possible to set flag 66, 67 in the local DHCP to point to the BMA TFTP and turn off BMA DHCP; The booting process works as expected. Are there any reasons as to why I should use the BMA DHCP instead of the local DHCP to handle booting? Are there any best practice document that lays out the reason to use the BMA DHCP instead of the local DHCP?

Thanks,

Dan
