Does the Cat 9k advantage license include the The SMC server VM sku and the SFC server VM sku or do these still need to be purchased separately?

The advantage license does not include server software. It is a convenient way to bundle device and/or endpoint licenses for services such as SMC, PI, etc., among other functions/features. For example if the customer doesn't have Stealthwatch currently running they will need to purchase the necessary components to make Stealthwatch operational. Then they can apply the Stealthwatch flow license which came with the CAT9K to enable flows from the CAT9K.
