Jabber and 911 options in Canada

Hi,

We have begun rolling out on premise Jabber with Voice capabilities to users and start wondering what other administrators do for 911 calls.

We looked at options such as RedSky and West.

From what I gather, these companies reroute all 911 calls to their call centres before going to the PSAP.

Are there any options for keeping everything on prem? we have CER deployed as well.

How are you managing Jabber 911 calls currently?

Hi there

We are using on prem CUCM and CER. Jabber calls make no difference. We have Expressways as well, but you can block the emergency dialing from Jabbers by configuring restricted CSS for 911.
