CP-9971-C-K9 Wireless Security

Hello,

Can anyone tell me why my CP-9971 does not offer WPA wireess security in its settings menu?

The product data sheet clearly states it is available, but I only get OPEN, OPEN with WEP, LEAP and EAP-FAST.

Is there a firmware or Dev_pak needed perhaps?

Any insight is much appreciated................

Hi Robert,

WPA and WPA2 are supported with EAP-FAST and LEAP. With firmware release 9.1(1), CCKM is supported with WPA (AES, TKIP) and WPA2 (AES, TKIP). So you need to choose the above options.

If you have not already, I would recommend you go over the 9971 Wireless Deployment Guide which is located here:
