how to optimize leafs tcam and pcam table

Dear All ,

I have been facing TCAM and PCAM table utilization into two leaf  in ACI Fabric .VMM domain and all EPG are communicating through these two leaf .I have created multiple Tenant in ACI and EPGS in the VMM domain using vDS .But facing TCAM and PCAM shortage .In addition , We have create multiple contract with filters.

Can anyone assist me how can I optimize TCAM and PCAM of those two leafs .what is the best way to configure and TCAM and PCAM table .

Hi Erfan,

The output showing Remote MAC count of more than 1Million is probaby a bug while it has no sense.

Login on Leaf Pod1/106 and issue the following command to compare:

show endpoint | grep tunnel | wc -l

If it gives around 10-100, you have a bug on the APIC or the GUI processing.

If it gives more than 1 Million, that's far beyond what the platform should support, so you may have a bug on the Leaf.

In both cases, open a TAC case...

Here is the below output for your reference .

LEAF-101# show endpoint | grep tunnel | wc -l
18

Please assist me how we can proceed on this issue .Is it bug or what ??

Hello,

Leaf 101 has not the huge Remote EPs issue.

As told before, you have to run the command on Leaf 106 (or 104), according to your pictures.
