WAAS mobile and Split-Tunnel

We are running the WAAS mobile client (3.5.0.2327) on a system in Australia. All comapny resource traffic goes through an IPSEC VPN tunnel to our data center and is being optimized. However, users of this system can't browse to the internet with the WAAS client enabled. Although the names are being resolved correctly using nslookup the pages aren't being displayed. The behavior seems to indicate that if the WAAS client can't optimize the traffic it is being dropped instead of passing through.

Do the users normally browse the internet thru the vpn tunnel? If not, have you configured WAAS Mobile to only optimize enterprise network traffic or is it configured to optimize all traffic (the default)? If you are optimizing all traffic then I would suggest that you reconfigure the WAAS Mobile Client Distribution to only optimize traffic that you want to go through the VPN.  See the WAAS Mobile Admin Guide Chapter 7 section titled "Defining Networks to be Accelerated".
