I already posted the same question in the UC section.
I'm investigation about the possibility of proactively check the Jabber services (via script or similar) from "outside".
The aim is to have something like a scheduled that try to connect as a client and check all the services (presence, call control, IM...) in order to rise an alarm in case of issue.
This is even more important for access via MRA, since the additional complexity (tunnels, certificates..) and considering the fact that MRA is becoming crucial for Cisco services (remote access, Apple Push notification...).
Is there some way to perform similar checks?
