Unable to access BOSH https url https://IP:7335/httpbinding from xul runner based application

Hi,

     We are having our 10.5 CUP server with the BOSH url inhttps://IP:7335/httpbinding.

     When trying to access from the web application using CORS from out XUL runner based application the we got the following response

          <stream:error xmlns:stream="http://etherx.jabber.org/streams"><xml-not-well-formed xmlns="urn:ietf:params:xml:ns:xmpp-streams"/></stream:error>,

We are having self-signed certificate as a trust certificate in our CUP server.

We can able to access the BOSH url inhttps://IP:7335/httpbinding in Firefox browser after adding the self-signed certificate as a trusted one (using Add Exception)to bypass the in-secure certificate access error.

We can able to access the BOSH http url from the XUL runner application but not the https.

Is there a way to bypass the  in-secure certificate access error in the XUL runner based application ?

You should probably ask this question in one of the Mozilla forums, since XUL Runner is a Mozilla API.  Based on your description, everything seems to work outside XUL Runner, so there's not much to do on the Cisco side.  Maybe someone here is familiar with XUL runner, but you're more likely to find someone in the Mozilla community.
