DNA Essentials licenses expiring. Will DNAC still see the devices as assets/ inventory? Can simple things like link up/ link down, utilization monitoring, etc... be done via DNAC if the Essentials license on the the Cat 9300 is not active?

Hi

The correct advise here is "license you switches as soon as you can".  If you run in some critical problem and had to engage cisco TAC you can end up in a situation if they bring this as a possible problem.

But, the switches manegeability will not stop if that is your concern. Few months ago I was working for a very large company and we had some problem licensing our switches. We were not allowed to permit the switch to access the internet so we had to use on promise server to allow the licensing.  It turns out that we took a lot to get this server working and the switch licensing was already expired. Nothing changed in the switches manegeability  from DNAC despite the eval expired. And we was using Fabric.
