I want to write simple H/W inventory query code for H/W inventory management.

Does anyone has a sample XML API/Python code for Cisco IMC?

This is what I use. Requires Python 2.7. Basically it uses mini.dom to parse XML from various parts of the UCSM or stand-alone C series. This is only intended as an example.
