Error when copying firmware to bootflash

I have Nexus9000 C83240YC-FX2 .

it running nxos.9.2.3.bin.

upgrade path i need to follow is 9.2.3-9.3.12-10.3.4a.

I could copy 9.3.12.bin into bootflash but getting error when copying nxos64-cs.10.3.4a.M.bin complaining about free space when it has 113Gb free space. 

/bootflash/nxos64-cs.10.3.4a.M.bin: Write could not complete, check free space on device
Error during copy
***** Transfer of file aborted *****
Copy failed. Removing file nxos64-cs.10.3.4a.M.bin

Usage for bootflash://
3553599488 bytes used
113035251712 bytes free
116588851200 bytes total

thanks for the bug info. i will try putting on a usb and copy that way and update this forum.

I used sftp to upload the firmware.
