I swear during our initial install I could put a user in multiple groups, but now the option is simply not there in my WIndows Jabber client.
Is this possible?
For history..I am trying to come up with a solution to replace a no longer updated product from laconi.ca/status.net, where we would login to our internal XMPP server and laconi.ca would login via php script. When you IM'd the server user, it would blast a reply to all users following, sorta like Twitter followers. Was fast way to talk to multiple departments for outage and maintenance notices.
