Looking for best way to handle this situation:
Today,
1. SMTP domain is customer.com.
2. UM utilizing O365
3. New voicemails are received with header:
To: jsmith@customer.com
From: unityconnection@customer.com
4. Replies to voicemails have the sender's email in the To: field as jsmith@customer.com
jsmith is the subscriber's alias.
Tomorrow, would like:
1. SMTP domain is cuc.customer.com (I hear this is better but not sure why)
2. UM utilizing O365
3. New voicemails are received with:
To: john.smith@customer.com
From: unityconnection@cuc.customer.com
4. Replies to voicemails have the sender's email in the To: field as john.smith@customer.com which is the subscriber's SMTP address
Can someone provide guidance on how to accomplish this?
