Hi All, Good day

I'm installing CTIOS client ver 8.0 on winodws 7 64x but after installation once I open it it crashed.

I've tried to look in the registry but I'm not able to find the Cisco folder under HKEY_Local_Machine > Software

I'm attaching a snapshot for the crash error

Regards,

Mohamed Sherif

Well it's not supported, so I'm not sure if you'll get it working at all.

As this is installed on win7 64-bit, the registry keys are under

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Wow6432Node\Cisco Systems, Inc.

Try upgrading to a newer version of the CTIOS desktop, you can run this with an older CTIOS serve with no problem.

8.0 is not supported on windows 7 64-bit.

From the 8.5.x BOM -

Windows 7 (64-bit) Support for CTI OS

Starting with CTI OS Release 8.5(2), you can access the CTI OS Client on Windows 7 64-bit.

Try running in compatibility mode for windows XP ...

I've installed CTIOS Rls 8.5 and the application is oppening now, but when I'm trying to login it keep connecting and not able tp login.

Any idea

Can you post the ctios log to see what it's complaining about?

david

I uploaded the log file

Mohamed

Both ctios servers appear to be offline.  Did you start the ctios service on hoccmpga and hoccmpgb?

david

This is a producation environment, all services are running

Mohamed

So, it sounds like the issue is from this specific agent computer only?  If so, can you see if you can ping the PGs IPs and see if the hostname resolves to the correct address?

david

Yes, I can ping an telnet from this PC to the PGs IPs and Hostnames

I have same issue but the log is empty

from where i can got the log file ?

Thanks

Hi Zeeshan,

you can find the logs in windows 7 under

C:\Users\(your local user)

you'll find the logs named as "CtiOsClientLog.xxxx.xxxx.xxxx.log"

Dear Mohamed

Thanks a lot for your suppport

I still face same issue , can you please tell me what you did to solve it

Are we have to install 8.5.4 patch on CTIOS server or only on client machine ?

Thanks
