Hi,

On a UCCE environment, we are transferring calls  to an external call centers through "rfXXX". and the same external number was documented as its been doing hairpin transferring. I think we cannot see any info regarding this on ICM.

Can some one tell me where we are trace this information and how this hairpin transfer works.

"rf" in front of  dynamic label indicates the call is "referred transfer" which means it is sent back via CVP/CUSP back to the initial routing client.  So, for example lets assume the call arrives via ingress GW then to CUSP/CVP to ICM, when referred transfer is invoked the call is sent back through CVP/CUSP to the ingress GW and then the ingress GW matches the dialed digits for further processing i.e. matches specific dial peer. To trace this information you would need to do this on CVP/CUSP logs and debug on the ingress GW.

Thanks for the clarification Chris,

As you said- the Dial Peer was having an error says SIP Decline on CUBE. Vendor fixed it.

Great, please mark the thread as Answered unless you have further questions.
