During the investigation of the possibility to access UCCX 12 DB with reading access I stumbled upon https://community.cisco.com/t5/contact-center/uccx-sql-access-for-third-party-application/td-p/177730 but it seems to be outdated.
It also seems that UCCX (sandbox) doesn't use MS SQL Server anymore, and DB provider is switched in favor of IBM Informix. However, I could only get very limited access to it over SSH to UCCX.
So, my questions are:
1. Is there a way to use MS SQL as a DB in UCCX sandbox (Maybe this could be configured somehow during the sandbox deployment process)?
2. If no MS SQL is available, is there a way (Maybe an API) to get access to IBM Informix DB for a 3rd party application?

UCCX only runs on Informix. You can acces a 3rd party DB like SQL from the UCCX script. You should be able to access the DB in the sandbox check this out for steps https://www.reddit.com/r/Cisco/comments/6u9epn/updated_and_resolution_uccx_access_the_database/
