Terminate email contact ?

In a script I have a send email step.  Suppose for some reason this fails so we end up in the unsuccessful branch.  Are you supposed to or should you terminate the email contact?

You can, but if my understanding is correct, you don't need to, in the scenario you described. I think, you would only do this, if you were trying to cancel the email after the create email step, but before the send email step. In short, it's not necessary.
