UCCE 10.5 HW/SW/DB Requirements on not UCS or HCS Servers

Hello

Within UCCE 10.5 Enterprise Design Guide I found the following Information:

Unified CCE runs in virtual environments on Cisco Unified Computing System (UCS) hardware or specification-based equivalents.

We want to stage UCCE on non UCS or HCS Cisco Servers. I'm looking for more detailled specification requirements regarding dedicated virtualized ESX Server and VMware machines.

Is there a document available regarding this? Cause I was not able to find regarding documents.

Kind regards,

Christian

UCS is the only supported hardware now I think to run your ESXi server on and then add VMs to it. What do you mean by 'dedicated virtualized ESX Server' please? What hardware are you planning to run your ESXi on?

Thanks,
Kartik Bhatia

These Servers are usually based on Blade Systems. e.g. HP etc. I will ask deployment Team regarding Version but I normally are looking for a requirement sheet before I get in contact with These guys caus this will be there first question.

dedicated virtualized ESX Server means that these ESX Servers are not running on Cisco UCS or HCS Servers and are provided by default from the IT department. They are running many hundred virtualized Servers on these ESX Clusters and I'm looking for a solution to get UCCE running on These boxes instead of buying UCS Servers.

So if there is a Server requirement sheet provided by Cisco for running UCCE outside the UCS or HCS world this would be helpful.

Kind regards, Christian
