uccx 12.x calendar an application management for supervisors

Hello,

 

I am playing with the new calendar in ccx 12.  I have it working ok and trying to figure out how I can have the supervisor open and close the contact center on demand.  I am able to play with the hours and close it fine. 

 

The problem is it goes to the closed prompt.  The only work around I have found is to use the failed option to play for example "we are in a meeting"  This is not user friendly as you have to go into the application and deselect the calendar which I really dont want supervisors playing in the application setting.  I am trying to get away from the xml doc lookup for holidays and use this feature. 

 

Our requirement is to be able to close for impromptu meetings allowing the supervisor to make this change.

Does anybody have any other ideas other than using the failed option on the calendar?
