How often is IPDT and Host information updated

We are currently working on a tool that will check information about a host and switch port configuration based on an IP or MAC and the host inventory.

I have activated IPDT during the discovery process and there is a lot of data populated in the host inventory, but there seems to be some hosts missing or not showing up.

How often is the data collected from the devices IPDT? Is it collected with the configuration poller job or is it a separate job.

Hi Daniel,

by default the controller polls network-devices every 25mins.

However, for hosts (user devices) you should enable SNMP traps which make the update happen when the interface changes state.  This applies to switches and WLC.
