Nexus7k in the Edge

We have a customer that want to use one of VDC Nexus 7K as the edge to replace his 7200 RTR

is it good idea, or is it better to buy ASR

what is the advatange iof using ASR instead of Nexus in the Edge

It very much depends on the purpose of the edge? Please show us the topology in which the edge will be installed. What are the requirements from the customer?
