Hi,

We are having problem with upgrading from current release to the latest release. Problem is that when we start the upgrade procedure for the VEM we hit at this error:

Upgrade VIBs: System VEM Image

Upgrade Status: Upgrade Errored in vCenter. Please check UpgradeError for more details.

Upgrade Notification Sent Time: Wed Sep 25 10:13:25 2013

Upgrade Status Time(vCenter): Tue Sep 24 16:58:34 2013

Upgrade Start Time: Wed Sep 25 10:13:39 2013

Upgrade End Time(vCenter): Wed Sep 25 10:14:00 2013

Upgrade Error:  [VMware vCenter Server 5.1.0 build-1123961] vDS operation failed on host esx1.xxx.xx, integrity.fault.EsxupdateErrorUnhandledExceptionFault.summary got (integrity.fault.EsxupdateErrorUnhandledExceptionFault) exception. Cannot complete

a vSphere Distributed Switch operation for one or more host members..

Upgrade Bundle ID:

    VSM: VEM500-201306160100-BG

    DVS: VEM500-201306160100-BG

We found this problem and solution on one other forum, but it's not working in our case:

I have another question about Upgrade bundle ID. It says that version is:

Upgrade Bundle ID:

    VSM: VEM500-201306160100-BG

    DVS: VEM500-201306160100-BG

but we are having VMWare vCenter Server 5.1. We also noticed this in previous versions.

BR,  Marko

We have successfully updated VEMs, based on the solution from forum:

The problem is that version from Internet is different (Date: 1.7.2013) than version from Cisco (Date: 20.6.2013) and you have to delete version from Internet and use version from Cisco.
