We use the ironport ESA C170 for filtering incoming mail with a accept query validation, thats works fine but some users use the plus - addressing feature to generate dynamic Mail Addresses for filtering in the Inbox. The syntax of this is proxyaddress+somesuffix@domain.tld It is possible to change the query string to this pattern. The suffix is unknown in the AD so I cannot add each suffix to the AD as proxyaddress.
This is the actual query string:
For example the proxy address is user@domain.tld and for a project the user use user+project1@domain.tld and for that the query string don't match. The Filter reject the Mail with:
To: <user+project1@domain.tld> Rejected by LDAPACCEPT
I don't want to deactivate this Feature, so I'am searching a syntax that match this pattern.
