Dear Sir

i am new to 8851 ip phone , just need help for speed dial kem

i do program speed dial entries into the device and when the phone is turned off the entries are lost

is there is any advice why list is forgotten from the phone ?

First, are you using CUCM or CUCM Express? Also, can you explain what you mean by "when the phone is turned off"?

And do I understand correctly that you are programming speed dials directly on the phone rather than through CUCM/CUCME administration?

currently I don't have cucm or any portal installed

I just entered the speed dial entries directly to the phone

The 8851 phones must connect to some kind of call-control system to work. Is the phone registered to CUCM? CUCM Express? Webex? A 3rd-party call control system like Asterisk?
