Available services when publisher is down

Hi all, I working on a document that explain what is available when my publisher is down, and when I am only running on my subscriber (both of the servers have the same services activated, and it is CUCM 7.1.5 version).

From the SRND 7.X we can find that the user-facing feature are still available :

• Call Forward All (CFA)

• Message Waiting Indication (MWI)

• Privacy Enable/Disable

• Do Not Disturb (DND) Enable/Disable

• Extension Mobility Login (EM)

• Monitor (for future use; currently no updates at the user level)

• Hunt Group Logout

• Device Mobility

• CTI Certificate Authority Proxy Function (CAPF) status for end users and application users

• Credential hacking and authentication

But I would like someone to confirm that the following are also available :

  • BLF/Speeddial configured on the phone (normally yes?)
  • CCM User web interface (normally yes?)
  • Web Directory (normally yes?)
  • CUEAC Attendant Console ?
  • RTMT Client (normally yes?)

Some other important service I may have forgotten ?

Thanks a lot for your help,

Regards,

Thomas

  • BLF/Speeddial configured on the phone (normally yes?)

yes

  • CCM  User web interface (normally yes?)

yes and no, yes you can access it, but you cannot do any changes as the DB is locked down.

  • Web Directory (normally  yes?)

Assuming you have redundancy using DNS yes, otherwise no

  • CUEAC Attendant Console ?

there was a thread this week of someone saying that when his pub was down he couldn't get it to work so that might be a no

  • RTMT Client (normally  yes?)

yes, you manually point to the server so just point to the SUB
