Call pickup (directed and group pickup) used to work fine in CME, it stopped working for us some time ago. It would appear based on other threads such as https://community.cisco.com/t5/ip-telephony-and-phones/cme-pickup-call-is-not-working/td-p/3037724 that it only works when the call-park system application command is used in telephony-service.
This is unacceptable as it causes multiple other limitations:
* One-touch call park is no longer possible with monitor buttons (they just flat out don't work and it is impossible to retrieve a call parked that way except by using the Call Park URL application). It seems you simply cannot use the same button to park and retrieve a call in that mode which is not intuitive at all.
* The command also disables the pickup of calls on hold (according to the docs)
Some other notes:
* We are using service dss and transfer-system full-consult dss (didn't seem to make any difference though)
* We do NOT have no service directed-pickup
* It appears that the CLI allows both the call-park system application and call-park system redirect commands simultaneously which the docs would make you believe are exclusive options (and this is an invalid config)
* Removing both commands seems to work the best, but despite this it does not seem possible to use call pickup (or group pickup) if the target is a SIP phone (only works with SCCP)
Really, is this right? A basic feature is crippled in CCME and broken for years? Or am I missing something? CME version is 12.0
