I have a client running CUCM 8.5.1.11900-21. They have purchased some 8831 conference phones. In order to configure the phones do I need to install the Device Pack (cmterm-devicepack) or just the firmware (cmterm-8831-sip.9-3-3-5) for the 8831?
If I install the device pack; will it change the default firmware load for all other phones?
Thank you in advance for your assistance.

It will change the default loads for all phones but you can take note of the old device defaults and set them back before you do the cluster reboot after installing the device pack.
