Hello Pros
We are running CUCM 10.5.2 (but this may be common to many releases) and we are trying to get our phones to invoke an application by using an IP Phone service. It would be fantastic if the phone could include a parameter to identifiy itself on the HTTP request. Unfortunately MAC Address /Device Name is not sufficient so I was wondering if the phone could send other information such as the DN or, even better, associated user.
Based on
only DeviceName is mentioned as a possibility when defining the Service URL:
http://myserver/myscript?name=#DEVICENAME#,
Do you guys know if any other infomation could be sent in the HTTP request? I know we could have the user enter the information (much like EM Works) but we ar trying to avoid this.
Thanks in advance for any input.
