cupc on/off hook presence not working

hi all

i cannot see on/off hook presence of my contacts. They see me when i am going on/off hook. here is what i have checked.

all my contacts dn is attached to that line user for cupc

all my contacts dn is attached to that line user for 7945

i have checked my dn is attached with my user id for cupc

i have checked my dn is attached with my user id for 7945

cups ver. 8.5

cupc ver. 8.5

cucm ver 8.5

I need assistance with what log i should be collecting and what to look for in the logs.

I am no CUPS troubleshooter, but I think the presence status from a line state is controlled by the user association to that line.  If you click on the DN in CUCM, then scroll to the bottom of the page, is there a user associated?

Make sure you have the Presence Calling Search Space defined under the users as well.  This can get you on a number of things like BLF and could effect this as well.

Subscribe CSS  under user is for Extension Mobility.

@Anthony ---  i have verified the line is attached to user for both IP-Phone and CSF.
