Hi Good People,

Please help me to find out what exactly is the problem with my VG E1 PRI, incoming calls never reach call control. Call Control Team (Avaya) says, they never receive any logs coming from my router. However, if I check the debug output, the translation rules are correct and the ISDN status is Active as expected. Here is the debug result I mean,

As @TONY SMITH wrote the call seems to be using dial-peer 0, in your case inbound. That's a very bad thing to have happening and should be dealt with by having the proper configuration for dial peers in-place. It also does seem like there is no outbound dial peer matched and that would explain why the Avaya folks says that they don't see the call on their end.

Have a look at this excellent document on the topic for dial peer matching. https://www.cisco.com/c/en/us/support/docs/voice/ip-telephony-voice-over-ip-voip/211306-In-Depth-Explanation-of-Cisco-IOS-and-IO.html

Looking at your shared configuration does not give a clear idea on what the expected dial peers for the call should be, so please describe that in as much details as you can and also please give the calling and called numbers for reference to make it easier to see the flow through your gateway. Also please include where is the call made from and to what.

So the solution is to use CUCM and ditch the Avaya?  I'm sure I'm not the only one here who likes that in principle, but I'm surprised it suits your business given the initial question.  Can you now route all your numbers via CUCM?  Your initial configuration seemed to translate any incoming calls onto a single internal DN.

I'm using CUCM only for testing purposes, to make sure the signaling is working properly as I can't verify anything on Avaya's side due to Avaya's maintenance by another team. After that, I redirected the DP to Avaya and now incoming calls are working fine.
