Hi All,
I work for a company that has two CUCM 8.5 clusters. The company is planning one maintaining one cluster, lets call it Cluster A, upgrading it to version 11.5 and then migrating over the users from the 8.5 cluster, lets call that Cluster B.
I have checked and we currently have Smarnet/UCSS support on Cluster A so we will be able to upgrade it to 11.5 and convert the current DLUs to UCL licenses. However we dont appear to have any support on Cluster B.
Does anyone know if Cisco licensing will be able to migrate the Cluster B licenses to Cluster A in this situation or will we need to purchase upgrade licenses?
Thank you

This to me sounds like you will need to take out support on the 8.5 lics.
speak to your reseller on how to do this. It is a separately orderable item as far as I know.

If there is no active support on the clusterB then you are not entitled to upgrade of that cluster thus no licensing. You will either need to renew the support or get new licenses for the additional users being added to the 11.5 cluster.
