Spark-Registered In-Room Control on CE Software Getting "User not authorized"

I am getting "User not authorized" when trying to issue this command on an MX300-G2 registered to Spark:

xCommand HttpFeedback register FeedbackSlot: 1 ServerUrl: "http://192.168.21.129:5000/codec" Expression: "/event/UserInterface/Extensions/Widget"

*r HttpFeedbackRegisterResult (status=Error):

*r HttpFeedbackRegisterResult Reason: "User not authorized"

*r HttpFeedbackRegisterResult XPath: "/HttpFeedback/register"

** end

I logged in with both a "room control" user, and an "integrator" user.  Neither works.  The fact that you can create the accounts would indicate this is supported.  Am I missing something?

Thanks.

Sal

Salvatore,

xCommand HttpFeedBack is not supported on Cisco Spark registered endpoints.

See the section "Limitations" in the link below:

Thanks,

So the obvious next question is - when will this be supported?  Is there any way to use In-Room Controls on a Spark Registered endpoint?   Is this coming?

Sal,

That I am not sure of.  However, In-Room Controls work for the most part.

Thanks,

Justin

I'm almost there.  I registered my peripheral (web server) like so:

xcommand Peripherals Connect ID: "503f5601da14" NetworkAddress: "http://172.16.5.65/codec" Type: Other

And then I registered my Events:

xfeedback register event/UserInterface/Extensions/Widget

and I get this which is great:

*e UserInterface Extensions Widget Action WidgetId: "widget_2"

*e UserInterface Extensions Widget Action Value: ""

*e UserInterface Extensions Widget Action Type: "pressed"

** end

*e UserInterface Extensions Widget Action WidgetId: "widget_2"

*e UserInterface Extensions Widget Action Value: ""

*e UserInterface Extensions Widget Action Type: "released"

** end

I'm just not getting anything on my web server.  What's the missing link?  There's got to be a way to tell the system to send the out of the widget interactions to my Web server.  I'm almost there, but I can't seem to get it.

Looks like the issue is over:
